Uttarakhand beat Karnataka in under 19 girls practice match

Uttarakhand has won by seven runs in the practice match between Karnataka Cricket Association and Uttarakhand Under 19 Girls in Bangalore.

Playing first, Uttarakhand scored 185 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted fifty overs. In which Raghavi contributed 83, Shagun Chaudhary contributed 28 runs. Both the openers shared 94 runs for the first wicket in 27.3 overs. However, the middle order could not continue it further and wickets kept falling continuously. Jyoti Giri scored 17, Nandini Kashyap scored 14, Neelam scored 11. Reema took four wickets for Karnataka. In reply, Karnataka’s team could only manage 178 runs for nine wickets in 48.2 overs. Roshni Kiran scored 92 runs. For Uttarakhand, Meenakshi impressed with four, Sakshi Joshi took three wickets.

Challenger T20 started in Doon: The first two matches of the T20 Challenger Trophy match started on Saturday at Tanush Cricket Academy in Doon. In which in the first match there was a match between CAU Red and CAU Green. The second match was played between CAU Orange and CAU Blue. CAU Red is captained by Kunal Chandela, CAU Yellow is captained by Jay Bista, CAU Orange is captained by Saurabh Rawat, CAU Blue is captained by Swapnil Rawat and CAU Green is captained by Robin Bisht. Spokesperson Sanjay Gusain said that on Sunday, CAU’s Red will compete with the Yellow team and Blue will compete with the Green team. The competition will run till 22 and the players who perform well in the competition will be selected in the Syed Mustaq T20 cricket team.
