Uttarakhand / Nainital : Necessary steps should be taken to stop child labor : DM

In the meeting of the District Level Labor Monitoring Committee, DM Dhiraj Garbyal instructed the subordinates that child laborers should not be employed in any establishment, factory. On receipt of the complaint, action will be taken under the Child and Juvenile Labor Act. In the meeting held in the Collectorate, the DM instructed the labor officers to get 100% registration of all the workers. Necessary steps should be taken to stop child labour. Register all the workers on the e-shram portal, so that all the workers can get the benefits of central and state government schemes. Labor Enforcement Officer Meenakshi Kandpal said that the Ministry of Labor and Employment is implementing various labor laws regulating the service conditions of workers and employment of workers.
