Uttarakhand : Chief Minister unveiled the statue of Swami Vamdev

Haridwar : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the statue of Brahmalin Beetrag Sant Shiromani Swami Vamdev Maharaj on Aastha Path and took the blessings of the saints. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced that this Vatika located on Aastha Path would be known as Saint Shiromani Swami Vamdev and the work of maintaining the garden would be done by the Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in his address said that Brahmalin Beetrag Saint Shiromani Swami Vamdev Maharaj was the pillar saint of Shri Ram Mandir movement. He was endowed with extraordinary talent. He dedicated his whole life for cow protection and Shri Ram Mandir. The Chief Minister said that apart from making Uttarakhand the spiritual capital, we also want to make Uttarakhand a strong and financially strong state. He said that due to Kovid-19, the Kanwar Yatra had to be symbolic, in which everyone’s cooperation was received. He said that by the month of December, complete vaccination would be done in the entire state. 100% vaccination has been done in Bageshwar and Rudraprayag districts and up to 95 percent vaccination has been done in some districts. He said that we are getting enough vaccine from the Centre. The Chief Minister said that all the announcements that are being made will be fulfilled. The announcements are being made only after consultation with the Finance Department. He said that whatever work we will lay the foundation stone for, we will also inaugurate it. He said that Uttarakhand would be made a leading state in many fields in the next 10 years. Swami Anant Giri Maharaj said that Swami Vamdev always followed Sanatani traditions. Mahant Ravindrapuri, Secretary, Mahanirvani Akhara said that due to the tireless efforts of everyone, the statue of Swami Vamdev was unveiled on the banks of Maa Ganga, for which everyone deserves congratulations. On this occasion, Mahamandaleshwar Harichatnanand, Swami Vasudevanand Maharaj, Rajendra Devacharya, Vishwa Hindu Parishad patron Dinesh Chand, Dr.Sachchidanand Sakshi, Shri Mahant Gyandev Maharaj Nirmal Akhara, Mahant Avichaldas Maharaj, Swami Rajendra Devacharya, Mahamandaleshwar Anantdev Giri Maharaj, Swami Devanand Saraswati Maharaj, Acharya Dharmdev, Swami Lalitanand, Swami Jitendranand, Nitin Gautam, former Mayor Manoj Garg, District Magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat, Additional District Magistrate Pyarelal Shah, HRDA Secretary Uttam Singh Chauhan, SDM Puran Singh Rana, City Magistrate Awadhesh Officers and saints including Kumar Singh were present.
