Uttarakhand CM : Government will go to court to increase the limit of devotees in Chardham Yatra

The government will request the High Court to increase the number of pilgrims coming to Chardham. Due to the present fixed limit, not enough passengers are getting a chance to have darshan in the Dhams. Talking to the media at the CM residence on Cantt Road on Sunday, the CM said that this has come to the fore in the review of Chardham Yatra. The government has made adequate arrangements for the convenience of the passengers. But it is seen that by 11 am, all the dhams are getting empty of devotees. Even after this, there is enough time for darshan. CM said that more people want to have darshan in Chardham. For this the High Court will be requested to modify the number of devotees. This will provide convenience to the devotees. At the same time, local businessmen, tourism-transport businessmen will also get relief. It is to be known that the High Court has fixed the number of devotees visiting Char Dham and Hemkund Sahib Lokpal every day. According to this fixed limit, Devasthanam Board is issuing e-pass. It is being seen from the very first day that despite taking e-pass, not many devotees are able to come. In the past, the government has given the DM the right to send the rest of the devotees for darshan of the Dham in this situation from their level.
