Workers of Aam Aadmi Party Doiwala assembly constituency marched to the residence of former CM Trivendra Rawat in Doon. He raised the demand for an inquiry, questioning the quality of the Mianwala flyover. After being stopped by the police during their march from Rispana bridge on Sunday, AAP workers sat on the road near the assembly and started shouting slogans against the BJP government. Senior AAP leader Raju Maurya said that 32 bridges have been broken in the state, including the main bridge of Bhaniyawala. The walls built on both sides of the flyover at Mianwala are in a critical condition. The bridge was constructed during the tenure of former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. Thousands of people from nearby areas including Balawala, Nathuwawala, Gullarghati, Shamshergarh move daily from the service lane built near the bridge. In such a situation, a major accident can happen here. Said that the leaders and officers are not ready to take care. The AAP workers submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor to City Magistrate Kushm Chauhan, who reached the spot. He has warned of agitation if action is not taken in the case of Mianwala flyover soon.
