Himachal Pradesh : About 50 percent students came to the schools of Mashobra block

Chikhar School had the highest attendance of 72 percent of the children
Shimla . After a gap of about five months, the school has started returning to its glory. While the children had a unique smile on their faces when the school opened, the parents also heaved a sigh of relief. According to the information received on contacting various schools of Mashobra block, only about 50 percent children reached the school on the first day. While the attendance of children in Senior Secondary School Chikhar was 72 percent.
The SOPs issued by the government are being followed in letter and spirit in all the schools. As per the instructions of the government, classes of tenth and plus two will be held from Monday to Wednesday and ninth and plus one from Thursday to Saturday.
Senior Secondary School Junga Principal Anita Pathania told that the class room of the school is being sanitized twice a day. Apart from this, children have been instructed to bring food and water with them. Similarly, Principal of Senior Secondary School, Chiyog, Dr. Sandeep Sharma said that on the first day of the opening of the school, about 50 percent children were present. Told that for the convenience of the children, an automatic sanitizer machine has been installed in the school and thermal screening is being done when the children reach the school.
Similarly, Rakesh Sarmet, Principal of Chikhar School said that 72 percent children have come to the school. Children who do not have masks etc. are being provided to them from the school itself. Banwari Lal, Principal of Koti School said that the teaching program has been started with SOP in the school. Similarly, the number of children in the schools like Dublu, Peeran, Juggar, Dharech etc. was about 50 percent.
During the conversation, the parents said that children have become accustomed to chatting on mobile phones on the pretext of conducting online classes and playing games etc. on mobile throughout the day. Told that online education was the only formality and the future of children has become bleak during the Corona period. Children were giving online examinations by opening books, which is not going to be of any benefit in their lives.
