Eight villages located in the inaccessible area of ​​Maharajganj district will soon be included in Kushinagar on the initiative of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Kushinagar, Jatashankar Tiwari in Uttar Pradesh. There are eight such villages in Maharajganj district across the river Gandak, where villagers have to travel 70-80 kms through inaccessible roads to reach their own tehsil or district headquarters. There is no proper way for the population of about 20 thousand in these villages. They have to travel through Khadda Tehsil area of ​​Bihar and Kushinagar to their tehsil or district headquarters. The people of these villages also struggle with floods.

Khadda MLA Jatashankar Tripathi apprised the administration about the problems of the villagers. He demanded to include these villages in Khadda Tehsil. Recommending his initiative, the District Magistrate has sent a letter to the Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue Council, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The revenue villages of Khadda Tehsil of Khadda Assembly Constituency are Shivpur, Marchahwa, Narayanpur, Hariharpur and Basantpur located in the Reta area across the Gandak River. Adjacent to these villages are Sohgibarwan, Kapardhika, Narsinghpur, Shikarpur, Bakulhia, Khuthawan, Banaspti and Bhotahan of Nichlaul Tehsil area of ​​Maharajganj district. With all these revenue villages being far away from the district and tehsil headquarters, the way to reach there is geographically very inaccessible and complicated. The people of these villages are affected by the floods of the Gandak river every year. At the time of floods and other divine calamities, there is difficulty in implementing relief and rescue work and public interest schemes being run by the government. However, now the hope has arisen for the days of about 20 thousand population of these eight villages.

In this regard, District Magistrate S Rajalingam said that there are eight villages in Nichlaul tehsil of Maharajganj district, where people have to travel 70-80 km through Khadda tehsil of Bihar and Kushinagar to reach the tehsil or block headquarters. They have to face a lot of difficulties if they have to get caste, income, domicile certificate made or have to travel for any need. Khadda MLA Jatashankar understood the plight of such people and proposed to include those villages in Khadda Tehsil of Kushinagar. We have seen those areas ourselves, it is easier for people from such inaccessible areas to come to the pit. Therefore, the recommendation to include those eight villages in Khadda tehsil has been sent to the government. There are some formalities left from the government level. After that the problems of about 20 thousand population of those eight villages will be solved.
MLA Jatashankar Tripathi said that the people of Sohgibarwan, Kapardhika, Narsinghpur, Shikarpur, Bakulhia, Khuthawan, Banaspti and Bhotahan villages of Nichlaul tehsil area are unable to go to their own tehsil and district headquarters. They are deprived of the benefits of transport and government facilities. He has been trying for two years to relieve the suffering of the people there. The DM of Kushinagar, the Commissioner of Gorakhpur and many times at the government level, it is due to the efforts that now he is going to join eight villages in Khadda Tehsil.
