Now information is coming out that Babil will be seen in the first web series to be produced by Yash Raj Films. Recently there was news that Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films is about to enter the OTT market.
The report claims that Babil will make an appearance in Yash Raj Films’ first Bab series. A source said that it will be an investigative thriller with Babil playing the lead role. The title of this series has not been decided yet. It is being told that this will be a five-episode mini-series, which will be based on the background of Bhopal. The shooting of this series will start in November.
If reports are to be believed, filmmaker Shiv Rawail will direct the series. Shiva is the grandson of legendary filmmaker HS Rawail. Shiv’s father’s name is Rahul Rawal, who is considered to be a well-known director of the industry. With this thriller series, India’s 50-year-old production company Yash Raj Films is all set to enter the digital world. It is not yet clear on which streaming platform the series will air.
Interestingly, Shiva is going to step into the world of direction with this series. Earlier there were reports that he will be debuting with Yash Raj Films’ big-scale film. Ajay Devgan, Ahan Pandey and Manushi Chillar were going to be seen in this film. However, now it is believed that this project has been postponed indefinitely in view of the current situation. In the current situation, the makers do not want to take any risk.
Babil’s film journey can start with Kaala. Famous actresses Trupti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee will also be seen with him in this film. The film is being produced under the banner of Anushka Sharma’s production company Clean Slate Films. The teaser of the recently released film was well received by the audience.
