Chana thorn, lentils, moong, urad are cheap, pulses strengthen

In the local Sanyogitaganj grain market, the prices remained soft due to increase in the millets of pulses over the weekend along with sluggish demand. During this time, gram thorn, lentils, moong and urad were sold cheap. However, the prices of pulses were said to be high. Rava, flour with maida sold expensive while gram flour sold cheap. Weekend Chana Kanta closed at Rs 5325 to 5350 per quintal after opening Rs 5250 to 5300. After opening moong at Rs 6900 to 7100, it sold at Rs 6100 below. However, during the weekend its prices were quoted from Rs 6800 to Rs 7000.
The tur which sold 5700 to 7100 rupees on the first day of trading stopped on Saturday from 5500 to 7000 rupees. The same situation remained for Urad, which openly stopped at 7100 to 7300 level. Lentils after opening at the level of Rs 7350 to 7400 were sold at Rs 7300 to 7350 per quintal. Pulses registered strong demand. Moong Dal and Moong Mogar sold expensive over the weekend. Rice and Poha registered strength due to improvement in consumer demand. Chana gram flour definitely sold cheap.
