He said that people are continuously joining the Congress under the membership drive being run across the state. Each member should ensure his role in taking the policies of Congress to the people. Congress’s victory is certain in the assembly elections to be held next year. State Secretary Mahesh Pratap Rana, Kailash Pradhan, Shailendra Singh and Gulbir Chaudhary said that the people suffering from inflation are looking towards Congress for change. BJP’s defeat in the assembly elections is certain. Ashok Dhingan, who was made the metropolitan in-charge of the membership campaign, said that people would be made aware of the policies of Congress by promoting the policies of Congress from house to house. All sections of the society including women and youth will be given membership of Congress. The campaign will be completed as per the target.
