Uttarakhand / Srinagar : Self-employment training given to 35 women

Self-help groups are being made aware of self-employment by giving livelihood promotion training by the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute. In the 10-day training program, 35 women from four gram panchayats of Kirtinagar area took advantage of the training. Block head Soban Singh Panwar described self-employment training to women by Rural Self-Employment Training Institute as a milestone. Said that the women of villages and villages would become self-reliant by taking such training. Along with this, awareness about self-employment will come from village to village. In the 10-day training in Kirtinagar of the block, women were given training in making paper bags and file covers. Regional Coordinator Ruchi Bahuguna said that the main objective of the institute is to train women at village level and motivate them for self-employment. Mahesh Rawat, Ranjana Pundir, Harish Pundir, Kamna, Rajni, Sanju Devi, Vandana, Radha Devi, Sunil Verma etc. were present on this occasion.
