The fire of uproar after the death of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri has reached Uttarakhand. There is also outrage in Uttarakhand for driving vehicles on farmers. Since Monday morning, the phase of dharna, demonstration, effigy burning and arrest of Congress workers is going on across the state. Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh said, “The incident of crushing the farmers on a jeep is very unfortunate. There should be a high level inquiry into this. About 80 Congress leaders and workers, including former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, were taken into police custody. Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh said, the BJP government at the Center is working with a sense of revenge. Efforts are being made to impose black law on the farmers, for which the farmers have been agitating for a long time. The incident that happened in Lakhimpur Kheri yesterday is shameful and condemnable. The Congress stands with the farmers and will not allow crime to be committed against them, he said. He said this Congress condemns such an incident and will not allow farmers to be oppressed.
According to the information, on the call of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress President Ganesh Godiyal, the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi along with silence and mass arrest in the district headquarters across the state today.
