Senior officers of police and administration briefed about the security arrangements in AIIMS campus

For the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, police have been deployed everywhere in Rishinagar. More than four hundred police officers-jawans will command the impregnable security circle. Even if PM is coming to AIIMS by helicopter. But tight security arrangements have been made on the road as well.

On Wednesday, senior police and administration officials briefed about the security arrangements in the AIIMS campus. The officers and employees posted under the security of the Prime Minister will not use mobile phones while on duty. Police personnel will be deployed three hours before the scheduled time. During this, officers in plain uniform will keep an eye on the posted officers and employees. From the sky to the ground, elaborate security arrangements have been made for the PM. During the briefing, Inspector General of Police (Crime and Law and Order), Inspector General of Police Intelligence and Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun directed the police force that VVIPs should reach their duty places three hours before the scheduled time and get information about their duties. If any suspicious object is found, its information should be given to the higher authority immediately. Only authorized persons and their vehicles should be allowed inside. Only persons designated earlier should be allowed inside after anti-sabotage checking. Mobile phone should not be used at all while on duty and should not leave the duty point without informing. Strict action will be taken against officers and employees who are negligent in duty. The nodal police officers were directed to identify all the police officers, employees who were on duty in uniform and plain with them and check their duty cards and brief them well regarding duty. The station in-charges were instructed to conduct a checking campaign in their respective police station areas, Dharamsala, Hotels, Bus, Railway Station, to verify by interrogating outsiders and suspicious persons. During the briefing, many officers including Inspector General of Police V Murugeshan, Inspector General of Police Sanjay Gunjyal, Deputy Inspector General of Police Neeru Garg, DIG Security Krishna Kumar VK, DM R Rajesh Kumar, SSP Janmejay Khanduri were present.
