Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Four arrested with knife and illegal liquor
Nagar Kotwali police arrested two suspects for illegally possessing knives during checking. During the checking near the forest department’s office on Hill Bypass Road, as part of the campaign against liquor and drug smuggling and criminals, the police arrested Aman Thapa’s son Sonu Thapa and Rohan’s son Jagdish resident Indrabasti with illegal knives. . A case has been registered against the accused under the Arms Act. In-charge Inspector Rakendra Singh Kathait, SI Inder Singh Gadia, Constable Surendra Singh, Deepak Rawat, Yogesh Kanthola, Sanjay Kumar etc. were included in the police team. On the other hand, Bahadurabad police arrested Amit Pal son Rampal and Amit Giri son Virendra Giri resident of Daulatpur while smuggling liquor. 10-10 liters of raw liquor has been recovered from the possession of both. A case has been registered against both the accused under the Excise Act. The police team included Santarshah outpost in-charge SI Naveen Purohit and constables Harjinder and Dinesh Chauhan.
