Travis Head created history by scoring a double century in 114 balls, became the first player to do so
Travis Head has created history in Australian domestic cricket by hitting a double century. He hit a double century in 114 balls in the Marsh Cup. With this, he has become the first player to hit two double centuries in Australian domestic ODI cricket. He played a stormy innings of 230 runs in 127 balls. Australian batsman Head hit 28 fours and 8 sixes in his innings. During his innings of 230 runs, he scored 160 runs with only fours and sixes.
Thanks to his innings, South Australia scored 391 runs in 48 overs. Apart from Head, Jack Witherald scored 97 runs for South Australia. Gurinder Sandhu took four wickets for 73 runs in 10 overs for China. The match was reduced to 48-48 overs due to rain. Till the time of writing the news, 93 runs have been scored in 12 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Head has been running out of Australia’s ODI and T20 team for a long time. Head played the last match for Australia in the year 2018. Talk about Travis Head, he has participated in the IPL.
