Uttarakhand : Petrol in Nainital, Bhawali Rs 100 a liter

For the first time in the city, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100. On Thursday, petrol was sold at Rs 100.73, speed petrol at Rs 104.18 and diesel at Rs 94.14 per liter. On October 9, the price of petrol was Rs 99.82, while the price of diesel was Rs 93.09. Which has increased to a century in five days. Due to the increase in the price of petrol and diesel, there is resentment among the people.

Transporter and Taxi Union President Neeraj Adhikari said that due to increase in the price of petrol and diesel, inflation may increase further. This can have a bad effect on the general public including the drivers. Driver owners are compelled to sell the vehicles due to the increase in the price. If the prices are not reduced soon, the transporters will be forced to go on strike.
