Haryana / Guru gram : Controversy is not stopping, Hindu organizations are not allowing cow dung to rise from the place where Namaz is offered

The controversy regarding Namaz in Gurugram is not taking its name to stop. Last week, Hindu organizations performed Govardhan Puja in Sector 12 of Gurugram, where every time Friday prayers were held, and since this morning, people of Hindu organizations are eating peanuts while sitting at the place of prayer. Last time cow dung cakes were used for worship here, Hindu organizations did not allow it to be removed. Hindu organizations say that they will not allow Namaz at any cost. At the same time, Muslim organizations are accusing them of not taking action in this matter. Hindu organizations also say that we will build a volleyball court here.

Let us tell you that BJP leader Kapil Mishra had attended Govardhan Puja in Gurugram Sector 12A at the place where people of Muslim community used to offer Namaz every week. This puja was organized by the Hindu organization, Samyukta Hindu Sangharsh Samiti. Objecting to offering namaz in a public place, Mishra said that if people of different religions, creeds and sects take possession of open public places on one day every week, it will result in blocking of all roads and parks. We need freedom to walk on the road, go to our office, hospital, workplace and run business. If people of one community take away this freedom every week, then it cannot be allowed. It is not allowed anywhere in the world.

It is noteworthy that on October 29, around 30 people who had gathered in Gurugram’s Sector 12 for allegedly obstructing Friday prayers were briefly detained by the police. Protesters, mainly from various Hindu organizations, raised slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ last Friday, amid heavy police presence in the area. However, people from the Muslim community continued to reach the site to offer prayers. Three years ago, the district administration had earmarked 37 places in the city for Muslims to offer Friday prayers, following which some Hindu groups protested. A few months ago, a group started protesting against offering prayers in the open, after which there have been demonstrations on Fridays for the last one month.
