Bunty Aur Babli 2 failed to impress the audience, Sharvari Wagh and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s acting is strong

Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2 film has been released in theaters on 19 November. Directed by Varun V Sharma, the film stars Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh, Pankaj Tripathi, Asrani, Prem Chopra in pivotal roles.

The story of the film revolves around the original and new generation Bunty Aur Babli, Rakesh- Vinny. The old Bunty-Babli are now living like a middle class family, leaving the work of thugs, that suddenly the police arrest them. Here he would come to know that someone is committing a big robbery in his name. These robbers are the new Bunty and Babli ie Kunal and Sonia. The police assign the original Bunty-Babli a task to stop the new thugs, but they keep failing.

After several failures, Rakesh and Vinny make a plan themselves and succeed in trapping Siddharth and Sonia. To make this whole story interesting, many side characters have been inserted which work to make the audience laugh with funny dialogues. The story of the film is quite predictable, however due to the strong starcasting, no one person has the burden of taking the film forward.

Rani Mukerji’s acting in the role of Vimmi Tripathi is strong, however Saif playing the role of Rakesh Tripathi could not do justice to his character. Sharvari and Siddhant are getting into the role of Sonia and Kunal and the acting of both is also strong.

The film stars Pankaj Tripathi in the role of a cop whose excellent dialogue delivery and comic timing help keep the audience hooked to the screen.

The music of the film is fun in which you will miss the first film in a lot of places. The song Love Zoo from the film is very good.
