Uttar Pradesh : Shivpal gave a week’s ultimatum to Akhilesh Yadav from Saifai, said – will take the next step if there is no agreement

Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are near and the decision on unity in the Samajwadi family is yet to be taken. Unity could not be achieved even on the birthday of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday, about which there has been speculation for a long time. On one hand, Akhilesh Yadav took blessings from Mulayam Singh Yadav by cutting a cake at the party headquarters in Lucknow, while Shivpal Yadav was seen holding a meeting in his native village. During this, Shivpal Yadav has given a week’s ultimatum to nephew Akhilesh Yadav for unity. He said that if no such decision is taken in a week, then he will consider the next step.

Shivpal Yadav addressed the people after cutting the cake on the birthday of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Shivpal Yadav said in Saifai, ‘We asked Akhilesh for only 100 seats to conduct a survey and give us the seats which seem worth winning. We say that if you cannot form an alliance, then merge. The strength that is in unity is not in scarcity. What a big rally we have held in Ballia, Gorakhpur and Deoria. But people are in favor of unity. So a decision should be taken on this soon. If no decision is taken on this, then we will take a decision after a week.

If the decision is not taken in a week, then the conference will be called in Lucknow
Shivpal Singh Yadav said that if the decision is not taken within a week, then he will call a conference in Lucknow and hold rallies everywhere. He said, ‘If the alliance does not happen in a week, then we will hold a conference in Lucknow. We want to be united. We will take advice from our people on what to do and then we will go by whatever decision you give. We want Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party to come to power in 2022. Shivpal Yadav said that at present the situation in the country is not good. Farmers, poor, youth, Muslims and farmers are troubled in the country because of BJP. People are troubled by inflation, poverty, unemployment and corruption.
