PM Modi active on the return of agricultural laws, tomorrow the cabinet will also approve the bill

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to quickly deliver on his promise to repeal all three controversial agriculture laws. The Union Cabinet is also set to repeal the Bill. The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of PM Modi, is scheduled to meet on Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s residence at Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi.
According to an India Today report, sources said that a bill may be brought in this meeting to withdraw the three controversial agriculture laws. The Union Agriculture Ministry is said to have finalized the bill after consulting with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Sources say that Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar may first introduce a bill to withdraw agricultural laws in the Lok Sabha.
The bill aims to roll back three bills passed into law last year. This was announced by PM Modi while addressing the nation on November 19, 2021. After this, the farmers celebrated fiercely at the Ghazipur border. In an address to the nation, PM Modi had apologized to the country while announcing the repeal of three controversial agricultural laws. Let us tell you that against the three laws, mainly farmers of Punjab, Western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are protesting on the borders of Delhi.
In his address to the nation, the Prime Minister had said, “Today, while apologizing to the countrymen, I want to say with a sincere heart and with a pure heart that perhaps there was something lacking in our penance that I could not convince the farmer brothers. Today is the holy festival of light of Guru Nanak Dev ji, this is not the time to blame anyone. There must have been some lack in our efforts, due to which we could not explain the truth to some farmers like the light of a lamp.
