Uttarakhand : Dehradun raises concern, 19 people found infected

Rather, the cases are increasing from time to time. Now from the common man to the system, he is seen to be irresponsible. The government machinery is also not serious about testing and tracing.

There has been a sudden jump in the number of infected in Doon on Wednesday. 25 people have been found infected in the state, out of which 19 cases are from Dehradun. This is 76 percent of the total cases. Apart from this, two cases each in Haridwar and Udham Singhnagar and one case have come up in Almora. If we analyze the situation of the last one month, 53 percent of the cases in the state are from Dehradun alone. Between October 25-November 24, 316 cases of corona were reported in the state, of which 168 are from Dehradun. At the same time, 74 percent active cases across the state are in Doon.

Challenge One

Assembly elections are near in the state. In such a situation, political activities are increasing continuously. Whose main stronghold is becoming Dehradun. There is a possibility that the sadness of the system may not invite the third wave of Corona.

Challenge Two

In the second wave of Corona, strictness was taken for those coming from outside the state. Sampling was arranged at all the entrances of the city. But this system has now collapsed. People are entering here unabated from all the cities of the country. The investigation is also closed at the bus stand, railway station.

Challenge Three

After decreasing the cases of corona, now people are also looking careless. This is the situation from market to all public programs. People are wearing masks and neither physical distance is being followed. Whereas according to doctors, the cold and dry environment of winter not only gives stability to the virus but also reduces the immunity of the respiratory system. In this case, caution is necessary.

Challenge Four

Doon has been a hotspot of Corona since the beginning and even now the maximum number of cases are coming here. On the contrary, there is a steady decrease in investigation. At one time, the target of testing ten thousand samples every day was fixed in the district. At present, even half of the target is not being tested. On an average, only three and a half thousand samples are being tested every day. If you do a comparative study of one month’s sampling and testing, then the reason for concern will be clearly visible.
