Uttarakhand : Students of Mussoorie Public School will participate in International All India Roller Skating Championship
Amit Jugran, Principal of Mussoorie Public School, while talking to reporters, told that 20 students of Mussoorie Public School are going to participate in the international level All India Championship Roller Skating Basketball to be held in Nepal, three-day international competition from 26 to 28 November. Dashrath Stadium will be organized in Kathmandu Nepal. The same Amit Jugran told that it is a matter of pride for Mussoorie and the school to be selected by 20 students from Mussoorie Public School for the international level All India Championship. He said that this is the first time after the Corona era when players are participating in sports, while school and Mussoorie players are participating in district, state, national and international competitions, so that children will be able to develop physically. He said that during the Corona period of 2 years, children were busy with telephone and TV, due to which their ability to read and write also decreased. In such a situation, continuous efforts are being made by all the schools to inculcate the habit of reading and writing among the students as before, and also made aware about sports. It is also necessary to play along with studies so that along with the intellectual development of the children, physical and mental development can also take place. So that their future can be built in a better way. Amit Jugran said that at one time there was tremendous enthusiasm for skating in Mussoorie, the queen of mountains, from children to elders participate in this various competitions, but with time this game disappeared from Mussoorie, while the sports field in Mussoorie was also very big. All India Championship Roller Skating Basketball was organized by him along with his team at Mussoorie Public School in Mussoorie on 27th and 28th October to revive the same lack of roller skating. In which 6 states participated, this association is recognized by the MHR Federation of Roller Basketball. In which 20 students from Mussoorie Public School, Uttarakhand are going to participate in international level All India Championship Roller Skating Basketball. Due to which the name of the state and the school will be illuminated along with the country. At the same time, he also said that it is the effort of all the schools that children should be encouraged to play sports along with education.
