President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh on Sunday, November 28. After the information of the President’s program, the Pauri district administration held a meeting with the subordinates regarding the security arrangements and other preparations. At the same time, the intelligence department also gathered information by going to Parmarth Niketan regarding the arrival of the President.
President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan on Sunday evening. For the preparations for the arrival of the President, from Friday morning, the Air Force helicopter rehearsed to land on the ghat at Ved Niketan located near Parmarth Niketan, but the helicopter could not land.
An attempt was made to land the helicopter once again at 2 pm. But the helicopter could not land. It is being told that now the helicopter will be landed in the AIIMS campus or in the sports ground of Purnanand Inter College.
District Magistrate Pauri Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande and SSP Pauri P. Renuka Devi held a meeting with the subordinates regarding the arrival of the President to Parmarth Niketan. On this occasion SDM Yamkeshwar Mukta Mishra, Inspector-in-Charge Police Station Virendra Ramola etc. were present.
Warned to stop President’s convoy
The demand for the arrest of Waseem Rizvi, former chairman of Shia Waqf Board of UP, who was caught on the charge of making indecent remarks about Prophet Mohammad, has started gaining momentum. Warned that the convoy of President Ram Nath Kovind coming to Haridwar will be stopped if arrest is not made within 24 hours.

Speaker Naeem Qureshi said that the people of the Muslim community across the country are angry for making remarks against Hazrat Mohammad Saheb. The displeasure of the Muslim community is increasing due to the non-arrest of the accused. SP Rai assured that thorough investigation is going on in the whole matter, soon the police will take advance action. During this many people of Muslim society were present.
