India, who came out to defend their title in the Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup, thrashed Poland 8-2 to seal their place in the quarter-finals on Saturday. In this match, Sudi Chirmako, Arijit Singh Hundal and Sanjay Kumar scored two goals each for India. Vice-captain Sanjay, who scored a hat-trick in the first two matches, scored in the fourth and 58th minutes today.
