But the Meteorological Department (IMD) has once again issued an alert of rain and snowfall from December 5. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will be bad for the next two days and once again the people of the state will have to face rain and snowfall.
Light to heavy snowfall has also been predicted in Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days. An increase in minimum temperatures was observed at most places in the Valley. The Meteorological Department said, ‘Snowfall is expected to continue in Jammu and Kashmir till Monday evening. At the same time, there may be heavy snowfall on Sunday.
It was told by the department that snowfall will start from Saturday night and gradually increase on Sunday. Officials said that the plains of Kashmir may receive light (two to three inches) snowfall, while the higher reaches are expected to receive moderate (six to seven inches) snowfall.

Light to heavy rain is expected in most areas of Jammu region. Officials said that due to the rains, traffic may be disrupted for some time at passes like Sadna Top, Zojila, Sinthan Top, Mughal Road and Ramban-Banihal. Also the power supply can be affected.
At the same time, there may be light rain or drizzle in the capital Delhi today i.e. on the evening of December 5. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain is expected to increase with light drizzle on Sunday. Due to this, there is a possibility of a drop in the maximum temperature by three to four degrees for the next three days, due to which the cold will increase.
