Canadian PM Justin Trudeau gave this information from his official Twitter account. Trudeau said that Canada is deeply concerned by the continuing human rights violations in China. Against this we will not send any diplomatic representative to the Winter Games.
Britain, America and Australia have also announced
Before Canada, Britain had also announced a boycott. He had said that no diplomat from our country will go to China. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also said that I do not think it is wise to boycott the Games and it is the policy of the government.
Earlier, Australia and earlier America have also announced boycott of Winter Olympics going to be held in Beijing. Behind this, he has cited atrocities on Uighur Muslims in China’s Xinjiang province and many other human rights violations. However, all four countries will be seen supporting their players participating in the Olympics.
