The Draft of Police Commissioner System has been approved by the Home Department, Law Department and Finance Department and has now been given shape.
Let us tell you that under the police commissioner system, whatever sections and rules are there by the Home Department, amendments have been made in many places. Along with this, the police stations under the Municipal Corporation will also remain under it. Police commissioner system has been implemented in 32 police stations of Bhopal and 34 police station areas of Indore. There will be separate police commissioners in both Bhopal and Indore. Apart from this, police will be appointed at different levels in this. The Home Department had prepared a proposal to give the police the rights of Section 107/16, 144,133, Police Act, Motor Vehicle Act, State Security Act, Official Secrets, Immoral Prostitution, State Security District, Kidnap etc. has been done. Police officers will be appointed as soon as the system is implemented. Soon three Additional Commissioners of Police, eight Deputy Commissioners, 12 Additional Commissioners of Police and 19 Assistant Commissioners of Police level officers will be appointed, which will be a staff of about 43 officers.
Under the area notification, this system will be applicable in the urban police station area. In this, all the police stations of the municipal limits will be there. Apart from this, the police stations in the countryside will be excluded, but the police stations, which will include both the countryside and urban areas, will also be included in the system. That is, the police stations whose entire area is countryside, they will remain out of it.
