Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Two days old dead body of Orissa girl found in bushes, stir in the city

In Rishikesh, there has been a stir in the city after the body of a young woman was found in the bushes near Krishnanagar Tirahe of Kotwali area. The police, who reached the spot, found a train ticket and a phone number from Haridwar to Jagannath Puri Orissa from the girl’s bag. The body of the girl has been kept in the mortuary of AIIMS for identification, ead body about two days old.

On Thursday morning, some women were picking wood in the bushes near Krishnanagar Tirahe located at IDPL. Then the eyes of the women fell on the dead body of the girl lying in the bushes. The body was about two days old. On the information of the women, IDPL outpost in-charge Naveen Dangwal reached the spot along with the police team. In some time CO Rishikesh DC Dhoundiyal and Kotwal Ravi Saini also reached the spot.

During the investigation of the spot, the police team found a bag from the girl. In the bag, the police recovered the ticket of the train from Haridwar to Orissa Jagannath Puri on September 9 and a phone number. The name Aarti Bhoi (28) was written on the ticket. When the police contacted the number, it turned out to be of a young man. The youth told that he lives in Bahadarabad town of Haridwar district and works in a mobile tower company.

When the police called the youth to identify the body, he started hesitant and hung up the phone. IDPAL Police has sent information to Bahadurabad Police. At the same time, the forensic team reached the spot and collected samples for examination from the spot. Kotwal Ravi Saini told that the dead body has been kept in the mortuary located at AIIMS for identification. The cause of death will be known after forensic and post-mortem report.
