The last rites of CDS Bipin Rawat, who lost his life in the Tamil Nadu chopper accident, will be performed today at Brar Chowk, Delhi Cantt. The mortal remains of CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat have been kept at their official residence for the last glimpse. Several dignitaries, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, reached his residence to pay tribute to CDS Bipin Rawat. Brigadier Lidder, who lost his life in this accident, was cremated at Brar Square in Delhi Cantt. During the last rites, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was present at Brar Square, Delhi Cantt.
Before the last rites of CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat, their bodies will be kept at their 3 Kamaraj Marg residence. During this, common people will also be able to see his mortal remains. From 11 am to 12.30 pm on Friday, common people will be able to see the mortal remains of CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat. After this, the time from 12.30 to 1.30 pm has been fixed for military personnel. After this, the last rites of the Chief of Defense Staff will be performed with full military honours.
