China took a jibe at CDS General Bipin Rawat’s helicopter crash, said – lack of discipline in the Indian Army

China has termed the Indian Army’s lack of discipline over the death of Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash. The Chinese government’s mouthpiece, Global Times, said the incident exposed India’s lack of war preparedness. Along with this, the country’s military modernization has also been dealt a heavy blow, which can last for a long time.
Global Times quoted analysts as saying that even after the departure of India’s biggest military officer who was opposed to China, there is no possibility of change in the aggressive stance of both the countries on the border. China has said that Rawat’s death may upset the modernization plan of the Indian Army.
Global Times has written that India is known for a loose and undisciplined military culture and Indian soldiers mostly do not follow standard operating procedures and rules. This is said to be explained by several previous accidents, including a fire on an Indian aircraft carrier in 2019 and an explosion in an Indian submarine in 2013.
The Global Times has said that this helicopter crash could have been avoided. The flight had to be stopped until the weather improved. The pilot had to fly more cautiously, take better care of the helicopter. The newspaper has said that there is a common problem for the entire Indian Army, including Indian soldiers stationed in the China-India border areas.
