Uttarakhand / Almora : Regarding the progress of disposal of complaints received in multipurpose camps, the District Magistrate took a meeting of various departments.

In connection with the progress of disposal of complaints received in multipurpose camps in various blocks and tehsils, District Magistrate Vandana Singh took a meeting of various departments. In the meeting, the disposal of complaints related to the departments of medical, education, district panchayat, agriculture, labor etc. was reviewed. The District Magistrate instructed the departmental officers that the problems which are resolved from the district level or the proceedings are in progress, must be informed to the complainant, whose copy should also be made available in the district office. Along with this, information about the proposals to be sent to the government related to complaints should also be made available to the complainant so that he is satisfied that action is being taken on his complaint.
In the meeting, instructions were given by the District Magistrate to the Labor Enforcement Officer to set up camps for labor registration and renewal in each block. During the review of Agriculture Department, he reviewed the disposal of complaints received. It was apprised by the officials that the complaints related to PM Kisan have been resolved as well as the complaints related to the encroachment of land erosion have been proposed under MNREGA and Krishi Sinchai Yojana. For complaints related to the education department, he directed the education officer that the old pending complaints should be disposed of at the earliest.
In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the Chief Medical Officer to make a nodal officer for complaints related to the medical department. These nodal officers will apprise the district office about the action taken by all the in-charge medical officers regarding complaints within a week. He held a meeting with the Medical College regarding various complaints of the Medical College and resolved them. He directed the Chief Medical Officer to resolve the complaints at the district level at the earliest. Chief Medical Officer Dr. RC Pant, Chief Education Officer HB Chand and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
