Uttarakhand / Mussoorie: ITBP woman boxer raped in constable’s room

A case of rape of a constable posted at ITBP Academy in Mussoorie has come to light. He is also a boxing player. The victim had earlier informed the officials of the academy, but when no action was taken, a case was registered against the colleague at the Mussoorie police station. Police may arrest the accused soon. Mussoorie Kotwal Girish Chandra Sharma told that this incident is of December 5. On Sunday, the female constable went to the room of her acquaintance, Mohan Singh Danu, outside the academy, with an out-pass.

It is alleged that there Mohan raped the woman. The victim informed her officers at 11:45 am on December 7, two days after the incident. According to the victim, she was informed at the academy on December 8 that a case had been registered. The victim could not believe it. So, she herself reached the police station. The police have started the investigation by registering a case along with getting the victim’s medical done. According to the police, the female constable is also a boxing player. He is affiliated with the central team of the Academy. The victim is not married. Whereas, the accused constable is married. On the other hand, as soon as the matter is detected, the wife of the accused constable and the rest have reached Mussoorie.

Already know each other
According to the police, both the victim and the accused already know each other. They met each other during sporting activities. Due to acquaintance, the victim went to the accused’s room outside the academy on Sunday with an out-pass.
