A video has surfaced from Akbarpur police station area of Kanpur countryside in which a person is being brutally lathi by the police outside the district hospital. He also has a 3-year-old infant in the man’s lap. He is repeatedly pleading with the police that the child will be caught but the police is not ready to accept it. The police have taken action after the matter got gritty. The beating inspector has been suspended. DGP Mukul Goyal has taken cognizance in the matter.
The video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Due to this, there is a lot of criticism of Akbarpur Police. It is seen in the video that a police car is parked and a person standing near it is being beaten up. The inspector of the local police station is running and hitting the man with sticks. The man is holding his child in his lap.
Police took action, Inspector suspended
The person is repeatedly telling the police that the child will be taken sir. The police chase the man and other policemen start snatching the child from his lap. In this he says that ‘I have a child. Not even its mother. Seeing the father being beaten up, the child is also crying and crying. The incident took place outside the district hospital of Akbarpur on Thursday afternoon. The investigation of the case was given to ADG Zone Kanpur. ADG Zone Kanpur Bhanu Bhaskar suspended Inspector Akbarpur Vinod Mishra.

Earlier, the ASP of Kanpur Dehat Police had given a surprising statement on the whole incident. The ASP was seen defending the behavior of the policemen. The police officer had said that ‘class IV employee Rajneesh Shukla along with 100-200 people created chaos and closed the OPD of the district hospital. The man seen in the video is Rajneesh’s brother. He was not ready to accept it even after repeatedly persuading the police. In such a situation, the police had to use mild force.
