Airtel, Jio or Vi: This company turned out to be laggy in terms of providing service; TRAI disclosed

If you want to get a new mobile connection, then there is often confusion about which company’s connection will be right. Which company’s customers are happy with the service and which company’s customers are most upset. Telecom regulator TRAI recently made a big disclosure about this.
Most complaints related to the service of this giant company
You will be surprised to know that TRAI has received the maximum number of complaints related to the service against Airtel, followed by Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio, this information was given in Parliament on Friday. According to data shared by Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chouhan, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has received 16,111 service-related complaints against Bharti Airtel in 2021, followed by Vodafone Idea with 14,487 and Reliance Jio 7,341.
- Out of 14,487 complaints against Vodafone Idea, 9,186 were against Idea and 5,301 were against Vodafone.
- The data showed that TRAI has received 732 complaints against MTNL and 2,913 against BSNL.
- Chouhan said that the TRAI Act, 1997 does not envisage handling of individual consumer complaints by TRAI.
He said, “However, the complaints received in TRAI are forwarded to the concerned service providers for taking appropriate action. TRAI has asked all Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) to set up a two-tier grievance/grievance redressal mechanism to deal with consumer complaints. has been made mandatory.”
Under the grievance redressal mechanism, a consumer can lodge service related complaints at the grievance center of his TSPs. Chouhan said that if the complaint is not resolved satisfactorily by the service provider at the complaint centre, an appeal can be filed with the appellate authority of the TSPs.
