Ruturaj Gaikwad’s brilliant performance continues in the year 2021, third consecutive century in Vijay Hazare

Continuing his stellar form, young Indian batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad scored his third consecutive century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament on Saturday. Maharashtra captain Gaikwad completed 400 runs in the tournament by scoring 124 runs in the match against Kerala.
In the match being played at Madhavrao Scindia Ground in Rajkot, Maharashtra team, who came out to bat first, lost two wickets for just 22 runs but captain Ruturaj along with Rahul Tripathi made a superb partnership of 195 runs to help Maharashtra team 291/8. reached the score.
Gaikwad scored 124 runs in 129 balls with the help of 9 fours and three sixes. This is Ruturaj’s third consecutive century in the Vijay Hazare tournament. Earlier, Gaikwad had scored 154 and 100 runs.
Considered to be the future captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Gaikwad has scored a total of 414 runs in the tournament, scoring three consecutive centuries in three innings.
2021 has been a great year for Ruturaj. In the 14th season of the IPL, he scored 635 runs at an average of 45.36 in 16 innings, including one century and four half-centuries. After which he scored 256 runs in four innings at an average of 64 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, which included three half-centuries.
