Punjab : Captain’s party’s first big blow to Congress, broke former MP and many former MLAs

Former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has given the first major setback to the Congress. Captain Amarinder Singh, who left the Congress after resigning from the post of CM, has formed his new party Punjab Lok Congress. Not only this, now he has also started to strengthen this party. In this episode, giving a big blow to the Congress, he has given membership of the party to former MPs and former MLAs. Congress MP Amrik Singh Aliwal and former MLAs Harjinder Singh Contractor, Prem Mittal, Farzana Alam and Rajwinder Kaur Bhagike joined Punjab Lok Congress.
Apart from this, some more local leaders have taken membership of Punjab Lok Congress. Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh’s attacks on the Congress are continuing. On Monday, he had called CM Channi a night watchman and said that he would have no role after the elections. On the news of Navjot Singh Sidhu being given the command of Congress’s election campaign committee, Captain Amarinder Singh said that it is surprising that the CM has been asked to act on the instructions of the state president. He said that no leader having self-respect would accept such a situation.
