Uttar Pradesh : SIT considers Lakhimpur incident to be a well thought out conspiracy, murder case will run on 14 including Ashish Mishra

A new twist has come in the Lakhimpur Kheri case of Uttar Pradesh. The SIT has found in its investigation that the entire incident of crushing the farmers with a car was a well-planned conspiracy. The SIT has now also changed the sections imposed on the accused. Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra will now face a case of murder instead of culpable homicide. Today the accused will also have to appear in the court.

Accused of committing a crime by deliberate planning

The sections have been changed after investigation on 14 people including Ashish Mishra, the main accused in the Lakhimpur incident. All the accused are accused of committing the crime by deliberate planning. The SIT has removed IPC sections 279, 338, 304A and imposed 307, 326, 302, 34,120 B, 147, 148,149, 3/25/30.

The car was mounted on the protesting farmers

Let us inform that on October 3 this year, four farmers were crushed by an SUV car in Tikunia of Lakhimpur Kheri in UP, when they were returning after protesting against agricultural laws at an event. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni were present in the program. Some people were also killed in the violence that followed the incident. Raman Kashyap, a local journalist, was also killed during the incident. The farmers had alleged that the SUV belonged to Ajay Mishra Teni and had his son Ashish Mishra in it. The first hearing of the case in the Supreme Court was held on October 8. After several days of violence, Ashish Mishra alias Monu was arrested on 9 October after several hours of interrogation.
