Uttar Pradesh : “Yogi Adityanath didn’t take a dip in Ganga because…”: Akhilesh Yadav

SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has once again targeted BJP leaders regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Varanasi. Akhilesh targeted UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the pretext of PM Modi taking a dip in the Ganges. He told ANI that CM Yogi is well aware that no river has been cleaned, so he did not take a dip in Mother Ganga. PM Modi had taken a dip in the Ganges before the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and that incident was very much discussed.
CM Yogi was also on the occasion of the launch with the PM, but he did not take a dip in the Ganges. He later tweeted a photo, in which the Prime Minister was seen standing in waist-deep water in the Ganges and doing puja. It was written with this photo, “The creator of new Kashi in the lap of Mother Ganga.” Yogi Adityanath had targeted the opposition parties on the occasion of the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham built at a cost of Rs 800 crore.
He had said, “The situation of filth and jam was like a stain on Varanasi, the cultural capital of the country. He had said, Mahatma Gandhi had come here and expressed regret over the mess here. Yogi said, since then many governments Came to power in the name of Gandhi, but Gandhiji’s dream has now come true. This has happened for the first time.”
However, the opposition alleges that the situation has not changed during the five years of BJP’s government in UP. Even after the formation of the BJP government at the Center in 2014 and the Prime Minister’s cleanliness campaign, the situation remains the same.
