Uttar Pradesh / Moradabad : SP councilor’s allegation – BJP workers beat up for tying red turban, police engaged in investigation

The SP councilor living in Moradabad’s Civil Lines police station has accused BJP workers of beating them on the way, tossing red turbans in the air, looting money and threatening them. The victim has filed a complaint in the police station against a total of six people, naming three people. Police has started the investigations in the case.
Sudesh Kumar, a resident of Ashiyana Phase 3 of Civil Lines police station, told in his complaint at the police station that he is a SP councilor. They were returning to their home at around 12 noon on Wednesday. On the way, when the Dhaba people reached near the temple, they were surrounded by six people on the way. Among them were two father and son, one other and three unknown people. Sudesh told that I had tied a red turban on my head. He started abusing me because of this.
The councilor says that when he protested, he started beating him and pulled the turban from his head and threw it in the air. After this, the accused took away seven thousand rupees from their pocket and fled after threatening. The councilor says that all the accused are BJP workers. After getting information about the incident, the police took the councilor to the district hospital for treatment.
