WHO now scares Omicron, can neutralize the vaccine

The infection is also spreading rapidly with fear around the world about Omicron. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) said preliminary evidence suggests that vaccines for COVID-19 may be less effective against the Omicron variant. Despite both doses of the vaccine, the risk of corona infection in the person is high.
The WHO said in its weekly epidemiological update that Omicron may be no less effective than the vaccine or antibodies produced by the body in recovery from corona infection. However, the WHO also says that more data is needed to better understand the Omicron variant.
Earlier, according to comments made by WHO officials in an online briefing on Tuesday, the new variant of the corona virus Omicron is a matter of concern. Omicron is more contagious and dangerous than other variants of the corona. For the first time since the delta variant was classified as a type of concern in April, the percentage of delta sequences registered on the GISAID global science database decreased this week compared to other forms of concern.
