Cold wave prevails in Delhi for the fourth day, minus temperature in Rajasthan

It is the fourth day of cold wave in Northwest India. The cold wave continues till December 16. The mercury is continuously falling in Delhi. Even today, the minimum temperature in the capital was recorded around 3.1 in the morning. Apart from this, the mercury is continuously falling in Rajasthan too. Here the mercury is reaching minus. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, today – 0.5 in Churu, -0.1 in Sikar and -1.8 in Karoli and Fatehpur.

Let us tell you that due to cold and air pollution in the country, the people of North India are in a bad condition. Stuffy air has made it difficult for people to breathe for the second consecutive day in the capital Delhi. For the last several days, many states including Punjab, UP, Haryana are witnessing cold wave outbreaks. Due to the snowfall on the mountains, the cold is increasing continuously in North India, due to which people are shivering. Since mid-December, there has been a sudden change in the weather, due to which the mercury is falling continuously. The minimum temperature in Delhi has also been recorded near 5 degrees yesterday. The minimum temperature recorded at Lodhi Road this morning was 3.6.

If we talk about today’s latest update, even today the mercury of Delhi has dropped. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature is likely to fall by 4 degrees in the capital today. Amidst the falling temperature, Delhiites are very worried about air pollution. Even today the AQI has been recorded at 290. Although the AQI level has slightly improved in many areas of Delhi-NCR, it remains in the severe category. It is believed that the level of AQI will remain in the severe category till December 22. On December 25, a slight improvement can be recorded in this.

In Uttar Pradesh too, people have chilled due to the cold. With the cold wave prevailing in Kanpur, the mercury may fall further. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 5 degree Celsius and 19 degree Celsius respectively.
