IPL auction will be held this month, information has been given to all the franchisees!

For the Indian Premier League 2022, all the franchises have submitted the list of their retained players to the board. In this new season instead of 8, 10 teams are going to play in this biggest league of T20 cricket. The new teams that will appear include the names of Lucknow and Hyderabad. The IPL Governing Council has decided to conduct the players’ auction for IPL-2022 in the first week of February. The council has given this information to all the teams.

The maximum amount is left in the purse of Punjab Kings. This franchise has retained 2 players, after which it now has Rs 72 crores, while Sunrisers Hyderabad has Rs 68 crores left. Delhi Capitals has retained four players, after which it has the lowest amount (Rs 47.5 crore) in its purse.

Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals have retained 4-4 players, while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore have retained 3-3 players.

Punjab Kings: Mayank Agarwal (12 cr, 14 cr to be deducted from purse), Arshdeep Singh (4 cr)
