Omicron, a new variant of the rapidly spreading coronavirus from South Africa to many countries, has increased the problems of the people. Omicron has caused the first death in America, while in Britain so far this variant has killed 12 people. Meanwhile, now the concern of the governments is increasing regarding the Christmas and New Year parties. The Netherlands has already imposed a lockdown in its country till 14 January. Here schools, colleges, museums, pubs, discotheques and restaurants will be completely closed. At the same time, the governments of America and Britain can now impose partial lockdown in view of the crowd on Christmas and New Year.
In the UK, it has been made mandatory to show the vaccination certificate before going to nightclubs and parties, while Israel has banned travel from today by putting 10 countries including the US, Canada and Germany on the no-fly list. The French government has completely banned fireworks on Christmas and New Year’s so that crowds of people can not gather. Ireland has also issued an order to close the entry of pubs and bars in their country after 8 pm.
Omicron patients are increasing rapidly in India too
Omicron is now spreading its feet rapidly in many states of India. On Monday, 6 new Omicron patients have been found in the country, after which the cases of Omicron infected have now increased to 171. More than 100 corona cases have also been reported in a day. The Maharashtra government has issued a guideline to ban Christmas and New Year parties.
Third wave of corona may come in India
There may be a third wave of corona in India, for this, experts are repeatedly warning. The first warning was given by IIT Kanpur that in January and February there may be a third wave of corona. The second warning, NITI Aayog has given that if the third wave comes, then 14 lakh cases can come daily in the country, which will prove to be the biggest figure in the whole world so far. At the same time, the third warning – Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert of Oxford University, who made the AstraZeneca-Covidshield vaccine, gave that the next epidemic would be more deadly. In such a situation, to avoid the third wave, the government can consider lockdown here too.
