Record 91743 new cases registered in Britain, PM Johnson said – we do not hesitate from strict lockdown

Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that the cabinet is monitoring the Kovid-19 figures every hour as the country recorded another record daily level of 91,743 coronavirus infections.
After a lengthy cabinet meeting, PM Johnson told reporters that the government would not hesitate to adopt measures such as a strict lockdown before Christmas amid the continuing spurt in coronavirus cases.
He announced that a few things should be clarified with respect to the Omicron variant before taking any further action. Unfortunately, I must tell people that we have to consider all options and possibilities of further action to protect the public, public health, and our national health infrastructure.
He said that there are still some things about which we need to be clear before taking any decision going forward. For the time being I think we all should focus on using all the normal stuff about wearing masks, washing hands in proper places. That’s why we are taking precautions. But remember how contagious Omicron really is.
PM Johnson said that in the midst of the difficult situation, the data is being reviewed continuously, every detail of the results is being looked at, as patients continue to arrive in London hospitals.
Johnson said, “For those who are still denied vaccination for whatever reason, please think of it as a great act for yourself and your family and get vaccinated.” We will also review its economic side.
Britain’s travel industry is facing massive losses these days, so it has demanded government financial relief. The reason is that people want to avoid the crowds during Christmas which is usually the busiest time of the year.
