2 terrorist attacks in Kashmir within an hour, killing of unarmed civilian in Srinagar; Policeman martyred in Anantnag

In Jammu and Kashmir, nefarious acts of terrorists have come to the fore at two different places. A policeman was martyred in the firing of terrorists while terrorists gunned down an unarmed civilian near Idgah. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the first attack took place in Anantnag. ASI Mohammad Ashraf posted in Bijbehara police station here was seriously injured by terrorists by indiscriminate firing. He has been admitted to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment. According to the Kashmir Zone Police, ASI Mohammad Ashraf has died during treatment. Police and army have cordoned off the area.

Unarmed civilian killed in Srinagar

At the same time, under the second incident, terrorists shot dead a civilian on Wednesday in Nawakadal area of ​​Srinagar. police gave this information. A police official said that the terrorists shot a man named Rauf Ahmed near his house in Nawakadal area of ​​Srinagar at around 5:55 pm, in which he was seriously injured. He was brought to SMHS Hospital here, where he died. The official said the area has been cordoned off and search is on for the attackers.

Significantly, this is not the first case of killing of unarmed civilians and policemen in Kashmir. In the last few months, terrorists targeted civilians and police personnel at different places in Kashmir. Terrorists have earlier killed innocent people in Srinagar, Bandipora, Bohri Kadal and many areas of the Valley in Kashmir.

The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
