However, there was no loss of life or property during this period. Now the earthquake has been felt for the second time in December. Earlier, an earthquake occurred in Mandi district on the night of December 17 at 11:9 am. The magnitude of the earthquake during this time was measured to be 2.9 Richter Scale.

Himachal’s Chamba, Mandi and Shimla are considered most sensitive to earthquakes. These are included in zones four and five. Whereas Himachal has the highest number of earthquakes in Chamba district. In 1905, there was a big earthquake in Kangra. It is claimed that 20 thousand people had lost their lives. At the same time, in 1975 there was a big earthquake in Kinnaur district.
