Maruti Suzuki preparing to bring new Alto, seen during testing

After launching the next generation Celerio, Maruti Suzuki is all set to give a major update to its existing line-up. The company will launch the new Brezza, Baleno facelift, Ertiga and XL6 facelift next year. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to bring the new Alto. The new Alto can be launched in the year 2022. The new Maruti Suzuki Alto has been spotted several times during testing. The new Alto has appeared once again.

The overall profile of the new Alto is visible in the spy video

A latest spy video by Kar DIY shows the overall profile of the new Alto. The model has been covered with a thick black cloth to hide the design details of the new Alto seen in the video. However, its overall profile is visible. The size of the new Maruti Alto will be slightly larger and it will look like a tall-buy hatchback. In terms of design, it will be somewhat similar to the new Celerio.

There has been a big change in the rear design of the new Alto

The front of the new Alto has been completely revamped with a bigger grille and a new design. The side profile has been kept simple and it looks slightly higher than the current model. Apart from this, the rear design of the new Alto has also been completely changed, it gets rectangular headlamps, redesigned bumpers and a bigger tailgate. The new Maruti Alto 800 can be based on the company’s lightweight HEARTECT platform.

New Alto may come with latest features

Major changes can be seen inside the cabin of the new Alto. The new Alto will get a new dashboard and central console design. The new car could be equipped with some modern features like touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. Apart from this, semi-digital instrument console, keyless entry, engine start/stop button can be given in the new Alto.
