Taliban flared up on this act of Pakistani army, warned of retaliatory attack to Imran Khan’s government

Taliban has warned Pakistan of retaliation after Pakistani army fired mortars in Kunar district of Afghanistan. One civilian was killed in the incident and the Afghan side suffered economic losses. A top Taliban commander, Abu Dojana, warned Pakistan that it should stop shelling on Afghan soil, news agency ANI reported. If the Pakistani army does not stop the attack, then the Afghan side is ready to give a similar reply.
Claims to resolve fencing dispute
According to the news agency PTI, the dispute arising over the fencing on the border has been claimed to be resolved by Pakistan and Afghanistan. According to Dawn newspaper, a senior official, while talking to reporters on Friday, claimed that in future, the high-level committee would settle the issues related to fencing on the basis of mutual consent. On Wednesday, Taliban fighters blocked the border fence and took bundles of barbed wire with them. This caused tension in both the countries.
United Nations can help $ 8 billion
According to ANI, the United Nations (UN) is considering a plan of eight billion dollars (about Rs 603 billion) to revive the economy of Afghanistan. Rameez Alkabarov, Deputy Special Representative to the UN Secretary-General, said: “We do not want to be an alternative government to Afghanistan.” But, it is necessary to help the system to avoid loss of receipts of previous years.
Taliban leaders exempted from travel restrictions for 90 days
The United Nations Security Council has exempted some Taliban leaders from travel restrictions from December 22, 2021 to March 21, 2022. These include Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan’s caretaker government, and Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanikzai, Deputy Foreign Minister.
There is currently no agreement for the management of airports
The Taliban has said that no agreement has been reached with Turkey and Qatar for the management of five airports in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation is discussing this issue with the technical team of the country.
Taliban will dissolve many ministries and electoral bodies
The Taliban have decided to dissolve several ministries and electoral bodies. These include the Ministry of Peace and Parliamentary Affairs and the Independent Election Commission and the Independent Election Complaints Commission. According to Khama Press, the independent commission on human rights will operate under a new name.
Taliban government sacks World Bank employees
According to ANI, the Taliban government has fired a large number of World Bank employees in Afghanistan, as it is unable to pay these employees further. Sputnik reports that the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has laid off several employees. However, it is not yet clear how many employees have been fired.
