The political storm of Uttarakhand stopped, Harak Singh Rawat agreed after 24 hours, the matter made after meeting the Chief Minister

After the threat of resignation of cabinet minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat, the government engaged in damage control and the BJP organization finally succeeded in persuading Harak after 24 hours. Harak Singh, who was angry about the subject of Kotdwar Medical College, left the cabinet meeting last day. Since then he was ‘underground’. Although, on Saturday morning, the government and the organization claimed that Harak’s displeasure had been removed, but due to his distance from the media and not appearing, all kinds of doubts also started deepening. At around seven in the evening, Minister Harak Singh along with his close MLA Umesh Sharma Kau reached Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence. State President Madan Kaushik and Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat were also present on the occasion. State BJP President Kaushik, who came out of the meeting, said that everything is fine.

Cabinet Minister Harak Singh, who came out of the Chief Minister’s residence at around 12.15 pm after having dinner with the Chief Minister, said that there is no resentment now. A medical college will be built in Kotdwar and the Chief Minister has agreed to release 50 crores for it. Describing the Chief Minister Dhami as his younger brother, he said that he is working for every section. On the other hand, in a conversation with Jagran, the Chief Minister told that the first installment of 20 crores for Kotdwar Medical College will be released on Monday.

There was a stir in the BJP on Friday night when cabinet minister Harak Singh left the cabinet meeting going on in the secretariat, threatening to resign from the post of minister. Just before the assembly elections, this development shook the government and the party organization. Damage control efforts were started from the night itself. The central leadership also became active. Late night, the government and the organization accepted Harak Singh’s displeasure, but also made it clear that the minister would neither resign nor leave the party. Damage control efforts were intensified on Saturday morning as well. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that there is pressure in front of the public representatives to develop their area. In this sequence, Harak Singh’s displeasure has been removed. Meanwhile, BJP state president Madan Kaushik, who reached Dehradun after leaving the Vijay Sankalp Yatra, told the media in the state office that Harak Singh was angry on the subject related to the medical college in his constituency.

Despite all this, the question floated throughout the day on Saturday that if Harak’s displeasure has been removed and the matter has been resolved, then why Harak Singh is not coming forward. In the morning, cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal and Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat also went to his residence, but did not get everything. It was also believed that Harak’s strategy is to come to the fore during the visit of BJP National President JP Nadda to Dehradun on Sunday.
