Earthquake in Ramnagari Ayodhya at midnight, most people unaware of it; Intensity measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale

Earthquake tremors were felt in Ramnagari Ayodhya at around 12 pm on Thursday. Its intensity was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. It is said that its center was 15 km below the ground. People came out of their homes because of the tremors. However, no loss of life or property was reported in Ayodhya due to this tremor.

According to the National Center for Seismology, these tremors of the earthquake were felt at 11.59 pm. People came out of their homes after feeling the tremors of the earthquake. During this, fear could be clearly seen on the faces of children, women and elders. The fear was that these people re-entered their respective homes after about one and a half to two hours.

The midnight earthquake in Ramnagari Ayodhya measured 4.3 on the Richter scale. Its center was 15 km below the ground. There was no loss of life or property in Ayodhya due to this earthquake. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 11:59 pm. Even during this time, most of the people did not feel the tremors of the earthquake. After watching the news on TV, even though some people came out of their homes after getting information about the earthquake, but after a while they went inside. The teams of district and police administration were also ready on this information.

Before this, in April 2015, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Ayodhya and adjoining districts. During that time the roof of Maa Kamakhya temple in Ramnagari had fallen. This caused a stampede there. People ran out of the temple premises to save their lives. Apart from this, people fled from the surrounding area due to the collapse of the wall of the mosque in Nagram, Lucknow. However, the next day the situation was back to normal.
